Art Philosophy
Illuminated by dreams, observation and introspection my works reflect on questions of meaning and significance, both personal and social.
I work in a variety of two-dimensional media: photographic, digital, and traditional, depending on the conceptual aim..
Focus of the recent exhibitions
The recent photographic works tend toward the surreal and speak of the unacknowledged. It also continues my investigation of distorted reflections as the possible observational basis of much modern and contemporary art.
Education
Box Hill Institute, Dip. Visual Art
Monash University B.A. M.Sc. Ph.D.
Experience
Academic and project manager in science and IT before turning to art in 2001 as a means of expression and psycho-social comment. I have successfully exhibited photography, digital art and painting since graduating in Fine Art in 2003
